McCotter to enter presidential race
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) is set to announce his intention to run for president on Saturday, according to a highly placed source in McCotter's camp.
Heck, I’d vote for him just for his name. "President Thaddeus McCotter." That is awesome.
UPDATE – he’s bald? A bald president? When’s the last time we had one of those? Is America really ready for a bald president?
That must be why Smitty likes him.
He was very eloquent in arguing nationalizing the auto industry
ReplyDeleteMcCotter is brilliant; a Renaissance Man who subscribes to Burke/Kirk Governmental principles, who--like the dear departed Gerry Kloss--can quote entire PLAYS of Shakespeare at the drop of a hat.
ReplyDeleteNot a President, but worth knowing, and knowing about. You can search my blog with his name and get a few samples.

ReplyDeleteI instinctively reject the Gucci-shoed D.C. divas’ dysfunction that deems what’s nuts is normal. McCotter speaks with content and wit. Romney is plastic. Pawlenty too cautious. Bachmann’s gaffes, if not curbed, will be her undoing thanks to the corporate-controlled, Soros bought-and-paid-for media. Cain, Santorum and Johnson do not stand out enough on wedge issues and Perry, well; we’ll have to watch for the ten-gallon hat and his giddy-up. Everyone is preening as though he or she is the new Ronald Reagan. Thad McCotter, thus far, gets my full support for POTUS 2012. Run, Thad, run.
ReplyDeleteThad McCotter is the biggest threat to the TEA Party movement in the race today. He's a wonderfully nice man with a decidedly fiscal liberal bent. Unfortunately, voting records don't seem to matter as much as charm.
ReplyDeleteNobody who wants any serious change in DC will vote for McCotter. But having him in the general will make the unions breather a little easier, that's for sure.
