I've been re-living Frank Zombo’s Superbowl sack ever since I saw this story.

The Bleacher Report has a list of “the worst NFL starter for every team.” And whom did they pick from the Green Bay Packers?

Frank Zombo, OLB, Green Bay Packers

Oh no they didn’t. Oh yes they did. Somebody’s got some ‘splainin’ to do:

It tells you all you need to know about the depth of the Green Bay Packers when Zombo makes this list.

The rookie undrafted free agent actually picked up four sacks, albeit with just 28 tackles on the season (he started eight games). More importantly in Green Bay's 31-25 win over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV, Zombo had a sack and five tackles, including two for losses.

Yes, the Packers are that good.

Oh. Well. Okay, then. More good news: I’ll have this play in my head all day long.

He just comes out of nowhere. Damn near caused a fumble, too.

Dear God, I miss football.

  1. Did you notice how many of the photos were of the "bad" player lined up against or trying to chase down a Packer?

That's a little unfair. The Packers made everyone look bad.
